To give the students an edge in both corporate and academic careers, IPEM offers a unique program on the requests of the student, wherein a student undergoes the PGDM and the MBA as a dual program.
IPEM will give the AICTE approved PGDM certificate and MBA degree from MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY, ROHTAK, at the end of the course, to interested students.
This is to help students keep their options open while choosing their career. Those who wish to enter the corporate world their PGDM course will be helpful to participate in the placement activities undertaken by the college. Those who wish to pursue a career in academics and do a Ph.D. in future may opt for the MBA degree, along with PGDM. The B-school will facilitate this dual program provision to ensure that its students do not miss any opportunity in their pursuit of a successful career.
| About PGDM |
IPEM
offers a two year, trimester-based, full time completely
residential programme Post Graduate Diploma in Management
(PGDM) programme. The programme aims to provide young
thinking minds the power to shape their thoughts
and develop appropriate skills for managerial decision
making. The Curriculum of the PGDM is designed in
line with the Industry requirements and is constantly
upgraded by experts from industry and academia. The
Curriculum of PGDM is spread over six trimesters,
in order to incorporate fundamental concepts in the
in the initial phase followed by the application
of the same. In the first year after joining, the
students undergo an extensive orientation programme
followed by courses in General Management as well
as major functional areas such as Finance and Accounts,
Marketing, Production, and Personnel Management.
In the PGDM programme, we strike a balance between
the science and art of management. We guide the students
to innovate, yet keep the fundamentals in sight.

The two-years, distance learning programme, approved by Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated to the MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY, ROHTAK is one of the most sought after programme of IPEM. The MBA programme of IPEM aims to develop professionals with management excellence, social and cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility and concern for the environment. The MBA Course aims to provide inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations/ academics and face the challenges arising there from. The Course not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also helps in developing overall personality of the students. Right from the beginning of the Course, the focus is on upgrading the knowledge of the student through suitable pedagogy like lectures, case discussion/ analysis, simulation games, Role-Plays etc.

Structure & Curriculum: |
The
PGDM programme is spread over 6 trimesters in two years.
The programme comprises of 40 courses (26 compulsory
papers + 14 elective papers) offering students the opportunity
for a ‘Dual Specialization” in the area of their interest.
These courses are designed to provide basic knowledge
of concepts, tools and techniques in various functional
areas and relevant disciplines and application of these
in corporate world. Students are required to undergo
training for six weeks at the end of II semester to gain
practical exposure to best corporate practices.

Corporate
Resource Centre (CRC) at IPEM is the most developed and
functions actively for corporate resources needs for
the institution. A variety of training activities are
organized throughout the year in an effort towards development
of students appearing for the Campus Placement and Summer
Training. The CRC maintains a good network and database
of companies which are invited for Summer Training and
Final Placements in the Campus. The CRC is sensitized
to function all through the year towards generating placement
and training opportunities for the students. The CRC
is also instrumental in organizing Guest Speakers, Industrial
Visits and Live Projects for the students. The basic
thrust is on creating a very vibrant interface of the
industry with our students. This helps the students to
