| About the Course |
The two-years, full-time management programme, approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated to the Mahamaya Technical University, Noida (formerly U.P. Technical University, Lucknow) is one of the most sought after programme of IPEM. The MBA programme of IPEM aims to develop professionals with management excellence, social and cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility and concern for the environment. The MBA Course aims to provide inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The Course not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also helps in developing overall personality of the students. Right from the beginning of the Course, the focus is on upgrading the knowledge of the student through suitable pedagogy like lectures, case discussion/ analysis, simulation games, Role-Plays etc.

Process: |
Eligibility :
Bachelor degree of minimum three years duration with 50% marks in any discipline and/or as prescribed by GBTU,
Lucknow or U.P State Govt. |
Selection
Criteria : : For admission through University seats, students have to appear in examination of the Mahamaya Technical University, Noida (formerly U.P. Technical University, Lucknow). For direct category seats, students should qualify Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or any other National Level Test like CAT/XMAT/ JMAT etc.conducted by All India Management Association which will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IPEM as per directive of the U.P. State Govt./AICTE/ Gautam Budh Technical University. |

| Course
Structure & Curriculum : |
It is a two year Full Time course which is divided into four semesters, each semester is having eight compulsory papers of 40 sessions. There is a system of Dual Specialization and an Open Specialization. The structure of the Course is designed in a way that students have to study the core courses from different functional areas of management that are made compulsory in first year and in the second year specializations are offered in functional areas where the students can opt for two specializations out of the five offered i.e. Marketing, Finance, IT, HR and International Business and one Open Specialization. The students will have to opt for two functional areas for their specialization, having four papers (two in third semesters and two in the fourth semester) from Specialization 1, three papers (two in third semester and one in fourth semester) from Specialization 2. Students will also have to choose any one elective from the given four subjects as an open Specialization in fourth semester. Summer Training for 6/8 weeks is compulsory for every student pursuing the Course, which they have to undergo between second and third semester. Comprehensive Viva-Voce and Research Project are part of the Course.

Activities: |
Corporate
Resource Centre (CRC) at IPEM is the most developed
and functions actively for corporate resources needs
for the institution. A variety of training activities
are organized throughout the year in an effort towards
development of students appearing for the Campus Placement
and Summer Training. The CRC maintains a good network
and database of companies which are invited for Summer
Training and Final Placements in the Campus. The CRC
is sensitized to function all through the year towards
generating placement and training opportunities for
the students. The CRC is also instrumental in organizing
Guest Speakers, Industrial Visits and Live Projects
for the students. The basic thrust is on creating a
very vibrant interface of the industry with our students.
This helps the students to develop a true insight of
the work culture and desired professional requirement
and helps them to develop a vivid outlook and perspective
towards corporate life. |
