The
IPEM Computer Centre has an industry-oriented environment.
It provides the students with hands on experience and learning
with the most up to-date and state of the art technology systems.
The IPEMComputer |

Centre is spread over a carpet area of over 5000 sq ft,
which is segregated into various laboratories-Programming,
Organization, Numerical Techniques, Data Structure, Unix
7 Linux, DBMS, OOPS & C+, DM, MIS, Java Programming.
The Computer Centre laboratories are equipped with the latest
over 325 Pentium based computing machines having all important
Operating Systems and are Networked through Windows NT,
Linux, Unix etc. All the computer systems in different Laboratories
are well connected with powerful servers and fed by centrally
maintained UPS. Captive power through standby generators
is also available round the clock. Accessories include-Video
to CD Converter, CD Writers, HP Scanners, Web Cameras and
Printers etc. of all varieties, A round the clock Campus
independent Internet connection with wide band dedicated
to an RF link of 512 kbps is also there, so as to have access
to world wide data, E-mail and for training on e-eommeree
and internet technology to the students. Every student gets
several hours of hands on computing experience as part of
guided learning sessions under attentivesupervision of expert
faculty members. In addition ihis, each student is free
to pursue computing activities at his/her prefem time for
the duration of his/her choice. For this purpose also the
laborato staff and faculty members are always available
to provide any help that tr Students may require.

Library |
|
IPEMgroup
of institution have well structured fully automated Library
with more than 25,000 books, 800 CD ROMs and Cassettes, 600
Projects Reports, Encyclopedias as will as industry and company
information sources.The |
|
Library
subscribes to around 145 International and National Journals
besides a number of magazines and newspapers.The IPEM Library
has a separate Reading Hall of 150 seating capacity, to provide
conducive environment for complete concentration for students
and faculty. The Library also has a Reference Desk to guide/help
students for their research/project work and further studies.
In the Library there is a separate Display Section announcing
New Arrivals of Books/Journals etc. The Library has a Computerized
Search System to assist students in locating their information
sources. Addition facility includes photocopying> The Library
is kept open for extended hours j inculcate the habit of reading
and acquiring knowledge; it is our constant endeavor to re-engineer,
organize and manage the Library with high qualified arid dedicated
staff to make if. a knowledge and learner resourc centre for
students and faculty, besides continuously adding latest volume
of Books, Journals and CD ROMS etc. |

IPEM's
classrooms have been designed to serve the purpose of lecture
rooms, syndicate halls, discussion rooms and seminar rooms.
They integrate the latest teaching aids to enhance the learning
process in most effective |

manner.
All lecture rooms are equipped with LCD and OHP Projectors
besides White/Black boards etc. Standyby power is available
so that no classes are disrupted.

Capital and Teaching |
The
IPEM has higly qualified and experienced full time
faculty as per the norms of approving professional
bodies and affiliating universities. The IPEM follows
a student centric approach with Lecturers, Tutorials,
Course-ware for self study, Case Analysis, Presentations,
Seminars, Quizzes. Group Discussions, Need and Training
based projects and Practical hands on experience in
Laboratories etc. The IPEM is not only known for providing
the best Professional and Management & IT courses
but also is an ideal place for students' friendly
intellectual environment where freedom of thought,
inquiry, creativity and scholarly pursuit flowers.
Besides equipping students in professional skills
and competence, IPEM gives paramount importance to
all-round development of students' personality by
providing them ample opportunities for participating
in Games & SDOrts. Cultural & other Social
activities and Inter-institutiona: Competitions etc.
The students are expected to attend al academic activities
and maintain proper discipline. |
| Auditorium
and Seminar Hall |
The
larger needs at the IPEM are taken care of by an air-conditioned
Seminar Hall & Auditorium equipped wi:.-latest
state-of-the-art audio / video facilities and having
total seating capacity of more than 500. Besides the
Institute, a number of professional bodies and Government
departments in the vicinity also use these facilities
from time to time. |
| Hostel |
The
IPEM offers on campus residential facility for students.
It has separate hostels for boys and girls. While
the boys' hostel has a capacity of 84 students, the
Girls hostel has a capacity of 64 students-both on
double sharing basis. All rooms are spacious and have
been provided with separate beds, study tables and
cupboards. Each floor has facility for clean toilets
and bathrooms. Hot water is provided during winters.
Washermen facilities are also provided in the hostels.
Both the Hostels have also got separate common rooms,
recreational facilities-TV/lndoor games and Newspapers/Magazines
etc. to enhance the living experience of the students.
Round the clock security is also provided in each
hostel. One of the key aspects of life in the Hostels
is 24-hour power back up supply which ensures that
students do not have to face power crisis at any time.
There is a dedicated warden in each of the Hostels
who stays 24 hours with the students to take care
of any of their problems. |

| Mess |
|
Each
of the Boys' and Girls' hostel has its own separate Kitchen
and spacious Dinning Hall, with adequate seating capacity.
The Dinning Halls are adjacent to the respective hostels. |
|
The students are served meals on the table. The food in both
the Hostels is very homely and sumptuous, for which the menu
is decided by the students themselves, to ensure variety and
quality of meals. Hygiene and sanitation of the Kitchen, Dining
Hall and surrounding areas as well as of the Staff of the
Hostels are given very careful attention by the management
of IPEM.

| General |
|
Living
in the Hostels on Campus is not only a comfortable experience
for the students, but it also gives them an opportunity to
use other facilities at IPEM (such as the Library and Computer
Centre)till late evenings. In |

addition, it encourages them to develop a healthy competitive
spirit with their peers, while at the same time it helps
them to develop an everlasting bond with other students
in an informal setting. It also enables students to develop
into independent and responsible human beings.

Cafeteria
in the IPEM campus provides snacks and meals to the students,
faculty & staff throughout the day.The area is beautifully
designed with proper seating arrangements for over 120 persons
and has become a place for relaxation and discussion. |
