| About the Course |
This course aims at preparing effective secondary school teachers, who are capable of responding to the progressive needs of the modern Indian society. The program is one-year full time degree course affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. This program has been approved by NCTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, an apex body for governing and regulating entire teacher education program in India. The course enables perspective teachers to understand the nature, purpose and philosophy of secondary education and to acquire competencies relevant to stage specific pedagogy, curriculum development, its continuous evaluation to foster creative thinking among students and utilize community resources as educational inputs.

Apart from providing theoretical knowledge, the physical training is also given to the budding teachers in which Tent Pitching, Yoga Meditation, Sports & Games and other cultural activities are organized. |

In order to enlighten the students and raise their confidence level, the B.Ed department organizes debate & quiz competitions. The competitions help the pupil teachers in improving their communication skills and making them all rounders. |

Every year the Centre for Teacher Education organizes a Workshops/Seminars where the academicians and experts from the field of education express their views on contemporary issues in school education. |

Instead of monotonous lectures, the Department also organizes various cultural activities for the entertainment of students in which the students show their talents via Dance, Songs, Rangoli, Poetry and other Craft Work. |
