Eligibility : 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects at High School / Intermediate / 10th Level / 10+2 Level.

Broadly the Programme is of three years duration, which is divided into Six Semesters, each semester having five papers and exposure to industry with Software Practical. The programme aims at developing a sense of Technical expertise on the basis of fundamental knowledge of IT subjects with a well supervised exposure to industry practices. The BCA graduates enter into the competitive world of business and advance education with the ‘extra edge’ that comes from an ongoing, symbiotic education process comprising subjects from different areas of computer application.

The Language Lab of IPEM is an audio-visual installation used as an aid in teaching current topics with multimedia installations. The system comprises of a Master Console (teacher position) which is electrically connected to a number of rows of Student Booths, typically containing a student tape recorder and with a boom arm.

• It comprises of interactive and communicative practical with emphasis on Oral Presentation/Spoken Communication based on International Phonetic Alphabets (I.P.A), Group Discussions, and Conversational Skills useful for Interviews, Seminars, Conferences etc., Official/Public Speaking based on suitable Rhythmic Patterns etc.

MSDN Academic Alliance of Microsoft

IPEM is an IT Academy Program Member of Microsoft. As a part of the MSDNA services, the Organization as well as the Students and Faculty of IPEM, have acquired around 100 licensed copies of Microsoft software such as Microsoft Windows, Visual Studio and others. The IPEM receives access to more than 300 e-learning courses for academic staff, instructors and students which help them to upgrade their technical skills. The software is used in coursework and personal non-commercial projects to be developed by students and faculty.

• Faculty members and Students of IPEM are updated with industry by becoming Microsoft Certified in the specific modules which they are teaching or learning.

In this regard, we have tried to make our BCA Program extensively Industry oriented by means of regular Industrial Exposure Activity. To fulfill this requirement, BCA students are regularly sent for Visit to various Organizations.

The Experts in various fields covering the topics from the Course Curriculum regularly appraise our students and give in-depth knowledge about the current Industry happenings.

Mentoring & PDP

The IPEM encourages Mentor-Mentee relationship between Teacher and Students. Mentoring Programme for the Students is in place to prepare and equip them with requisite Skills to face the Corporate World with the counseling of their Mentors. Personality Development Programme (PDP) sessions help in building self-awareness and develop positive attitude to manage time and stress. Feedback on important traits is delivered through supportive counseling sessions by experts.

Field & Live Project

Every Student has to carry out a project under the guidance of a Faculty member on a topic of his/her choice. This gives the Student an opportunity to showcase his / her analytical skills and put into practice the Conceptual Knowledge acquired in the class rooms for the specialization.

Seminars

The students at IPEM are given exposure to latest practices of Corporate World by organizing National Level Seminars where experts from the Industry are invited to deliberate on specific issues. Students are not only participants as audience but also as organizers which ultimately hones their managerial skills. Participation of students in Seminars held by the Institute gives them rich exposure in specialized areas of Management & IT.

The Sports & Yoga Club brings a fusion of the body and the mind. Sports & Yoga at the IPEM are the cornerstone of a student’s holistic development. We believe in crafting not just good managers but moulding them into all-round individuals. Yoga classes are also held for our students regularly to improve their body and soul.
